Reach Us on Policy or Account Terms

If you have a question about how our terms apply to your account, or if you want to request a change to stored data, our policy team is reachable through three channels.

Live Chat Connect directly through the chat widget in your account dashboard. Our team handles account-term queries and data-access requests during support hours, typically responding within a few minutes for straightforward policy questions.
Email Support Send detailed legal or data requests to our policy inbox. We respond in writing within two business days, providing a reference number so you can track the status of your request through to resolution.
Help Centre Our self-service help centre carries the full text of current terms, past version archives, and step-by-step instructions for submitting data correction or deletion requests without waiting for a support agent.
HOW WE HANDLE YOUR DATA

Six Ways We Manage Legal Accountability

Our legal posture is built around transparency — we document what data we collect, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and who inside 6ou can access it.

Data Collection Scope

We collect only the data needed to operate your account: identity verification details, transaction records including UPI and Paytm references, device identifiers, and session logs. We do not collect data unrelated to account operation.

Cookie Use

Cookies on 6ou serve three functions: keeping you logged in, remembering your lobby preferences, and measuring which pages load slowly. You can manage non-essential cookies from the settings panel inside your account at any time.

Account Security Practices

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Two-factor authentication is available and strongly encouraged. Our systems log unusual login patterns — such as a new device or unfamiliar location — and flag them for review before allowing account changes.

Retention Periods

Transaction records are retained for the period required by applicable financial regulations. Account activity logs are held for up to three years. If you close your account, personal data not subject to a legal retention obligation is deleted within 60 days.

Who to Contact for Changes

Data correction requests, deletion requests, and access requests all go to our dedicated policy inbox. Include your registered email and account ID in the subject line. We acknowledge every request within 24 hours and resolve it within the statutory window.

How to Request a Change

Submit a written request through the Help Centre form or via email. State clearly whether you are requesting access, correction, or deletion. We confirm the action taken in a reply email, creating an auditable record you can refer to later.

Common Legal Questions About Your Account

The questions below cover the legal and data-rights topics that account holders in India raise most often. If your question is not here, our policy team can answer it through live chat or email.

Your account is governed by the terms published on this page. Access to 6ou is conditional on local law and is available only where local law in your jurisdiction permits. Review your local regulations before opening or continuing to use an account.

Yes. Submit a data-access request through our Help Centre or policy inbox. Include your registered email and account ID. We respond within the statutory timeframe and provide a structured summary of the data we hold linked to your account.

Email our policy team with your account ID and the specific field you believe is incorrect, along with the correct information. We verify the correction against your original registration documents and confirm the update by email, usually within two business days.

Transaction records — including UPI, Paytm, and PhonePe references — are retained for the period required by applicable financial and tax regulations. Once that retention period expires, records are purged from active systems and from backup stores.

Personal data not subject to a legal retention obligation is deleted within 60 days of account closure. Transaction records subject to regulatory retention requirements remain stored for the required period but are no longer accessible through the active account interface.

Open the settings panel inside your logged-in account and navigate to the privacy section. You can disable non-essential cookies individually. Essential cookies that keep your session active cannot be disabled without affecting your ability to use the account.

We send an email to your registered address before any material change takes effect. The updated version is also published here with a revision date. Continuing to use your account after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
